I would not trade in the wisdom gleaned from what I learned in the year we are leaving and how I can and will apply to the future year. Personally, I had fails and Legacy Tracy Worleywin’s this year and one of the biggest lessons during a fail was a great lesson of humility; leading a project in humble grace as we kept maneuvering and adapting to ever changing conditions.

Planning for a new year can be daunting or a lot of fun. Honestly, there are some things I love about planning for the New Year and others I detest.

Here is a basic outline of how I plan success for the New Year:

Review your appointment book and online calendar.

  • Put items in buckets such as clients served, meetings, new product launches, vacation, etc. . . .
  • Once I create a few categories I then review the return on investment in personal and professional growth. I can also see if there are gaps of where I am not spending enough time and areas where I am spending too much time and delegate in the future.

How did I serve?

  • When in categories in an outline I can easily see my main business lines and then break down to who did I serve, did I serve them well, did I feel good about serving this group, etc. . . .
    • Masterminds, Coaching, Corporate Training, and Speaking Engagements
  • I also break down volunteer hours to organizations, free consultations, and any free-speaking I may have done for the year as well.

Who did help?

  • I go back to my emails inbound/outbound
  • Private messages in social media
  • Who called throughout the year
    • I break this information down to ensure I am spending time within my tribe, and also send gratitude notes for the New Year.

Who helped me?

  • I go back to emails
  • Social media
  • Calls
    • I break this information down to ensure I end the year with a personal note, email, or phone call. Finishing your year in gratitude is one of the biggest gifts to those who lifted you to the next level.

Now it is time to plan for 2015

  • Know what products launched well last year and adapt
  • Know what products took a deep dive to fail and adapt
  • Create new products: pushing and playing your success BIG
  • Polish current products and keep serving well

Now it is time to launch products within your purpose, passion, and gifts of serving others.
